About Us

Hazelwood Brewing Company was founded in 2018 after an extensive reclamation project of the long-abandoned boiler room of Lexington, South Carolina’s Old Mill. We emphasize authenticity in our brewing practices by making all of our products by hand and using traditional techniques. Only the best ingredients, including many from our own farm, make their way into the Hazelwood brewhouse to create an eclectic lineup of rotating ales and lagers.

THE FARM

The Hazelwood Farm is an essential aspect of Hazelwood’s brewing operation. Hazelwood Hop farm has been in operation since 2005 and is where the brewery sources a small amount of it’s estate hops in addition to many other ingredients. The passion for farming and nature is instilled in every pint of Hazelwood beer. We utilize and source the highest quality ingredients from local SC Farms and purveyors using that agrarian knowledge. Taking our passion all the way from Farm to Pint.
